Dreamscape Farm is very excited to announce that we be standing 5 more truly outstanding stallions in 2010, we welcome Pilox, Limited Edition, Danse Diabolique, Connecticut and the Weser-Ems pony stallion Bodyguard, all owned by Highlife Farms.

We are very happy that Joan Sims and Highlife Farms have given us the opportunity to stand these stallions and be able to offer them to North American breeders. Highlife Farms is a world-class sport horse and breeding farm, which has been at the forefront of Warmblood breeding in North America. Highlife Farms has been very successful in importing not only top breeding stock into North America, but also top level competition horses, their current string of show horses include Prezioso OLD (sire Pilox)

Prezioso OLD is currently showing very successfully in the Grand Prix jumpers both in Europe and in the US under Olympian Lauren Hough and is one of the very few horses to be awarded the special OLD, from the German Oldenburg Verband. They also have several top dressage horses including Bundeschampionat winner Der Euro, his full brother Der Dollar, and Diamond Stud with Olympic dressage rider Lisa Wilcox.

These stallions offer some very interesting and exciting choices for North American breeders, and with several of these stallions it will be the first time that they are available to North American breeders.

Pilox is a direct son, of the legendary Westfalen stallion Pilot. Pilox is one of those rare stallions who has himself competed to the advanced level of show jumping, including Puissance classes in Germany, has sired several approved sons in Germany, and has also sired horses competing at the international level of show jumping, including Prezioso OLD. His offspring have shown a strong predisposition for jumping.

Limited Edition offers hunter/jumper breeders an interesting choice, a stallion who qualified for and participated in Bundeschampionat as a 5 and 6 year old. Limited Edition is a son of Lancer III, his dam sire is Zeus, who’s blood is also highly sought after by hunter and jumper riders alike, this tall elegant stallion exudes type, class and has a great personality.

Danse Diabolique, is a beautiful black stallion who is a direct son of the great stallion Donnerhall, he is a striking stallion, with very good type, three very good gaits, and a good temperament. Danse Diabolique has produced numerous premium foals; his offspring are showing the ability to excel both as dressage horses and hunters.

Connecticut is a very successful FEI dressage horse right up to the Grand Prix level, and has won several awards including the Horse of the Year title from the USDF. A stallion known for his kind disposition, and powerful movement, who loves to demonstrate his excellent piaffe and passage, Connecticut has top Holsteiner bloodlines sired by Calato, and dam sire Landlord, he clearly stamps his offspring with athletic ability, powerful movement, and great minds.

The Weser-Ems pony stallion Highlife’s Bodyguard, is a must see for those looking to breed top class ponies, or even smaller horses. He is a beautiful typey black pony, with an athletic build, and lovely movement. To date he has produced 100 % premium foals with the Weser-Ems studbook, and also made history as the sire of the first pony stallion bred in the US to be licensed for breeding with the Weser-Ems studbook.
