Dreamscape Farm is thrilled to announce the addition of the one and only Valentino to our stallion line up!!!


We feel very lucky to be able to bring this very special stallion to North America!! Valentino has all the attributes that we look for in a stallion, he is proven performer with top results in performance, and has proven to be a top-producing sire. Valentino was winner of jumping portion of his 100 day test 141.47 , 6th in the dressage portion 121.09 and reserve champion overall 136.89 , Valentino then went to a successful show jumping career, winning in young horse classes with scores to 9.0, then followed with many wins and top results up to S* level. 

In the breeding shed he has consistently been in the top 1% of German sires year after year, with a breeding index over 150, and in 2015 he made top 25 list of WBFSH sires for eventing. Valentino is a very beautiful, typey, very well-rounded stallion with an excellent temperament; he has proven that he also passes these traits onto his offspring. Valentino is the sire of many top performance horses, winning in the show ring and he has also produced successful hunters. Valentino is an Elite stallion who has stood his entire breeding career at Landgestuet Celle, where he has remained popular year after year, he is well known as a high caliber sire. We would like to say a big thank you to his owners for entrusting him to us, allowing us to acquire him and him move to North America. Also thank you to Landgestuet Celle-Dr Brockmann for helping making this happen, we know he will be missed there as well.

 We have been fans of Valentino and his offspring for several years, and have followed his career; now to be able to bring him home we are so excited!! We look forward to offering Valentino for the 2017-breeding season, he will be arriving in North America very soon and his breeding season will start in March like all our other stallions. 

Valentino’s 2017 stud fee will be $1600, his November early booking will be $1200 (limited to 20) and as a special offering we will offer the first 10 mares booked and paid to him at $ 1075 

Valentino is sired by the Dutch bred Now or Never, Now or Never was champion in 's-Hertogenbosch in 1998. Now or Never's sire is the legendary Nations Cup victor, Voltaire, who needs little introduction to modern sport horse breeding, a winner in the show ring at the international level of show jumping, he them went on to sire his own sport horse dynasty. Valentino’s damsire Belisar brings blood though his sire Saros and is know as a producer of sport horses in Holland. Valentino was the winner of the jumping portion of his 100 day test and was the overall Reserve Champion of his test. He then went on to a successful show jumping career up to Advanced S* level, with many wins along the way. Valentino showed beautiful form over fences, a huge amount of scope, rideability, willingness and a workmen like attitude. 

Valentino himself is known as an outstanding sire, his statistics speak for themselves. His son out of a Stakkato mare was honored as a Premium stallion and sold for 100,000 Euro. In 2011 stallion son Viscount, was named a premium stallion at his licensing and then sold for 320,000 Euro’s. Valentino has produced 3 licensed sons, 32 States Premium Mares/Candidates, as well as 40 foals and 50 horses who have sold through the Hanoverian auctions. Valentino made the top 25 list of WBFSH sires for eventing in 2015, and is also rated in the top 1% of breeding stallions in Germany. He has rated in the top 1% of German breeding stallions for the past several years with a jumper breeding value over 150. His offspring excel in hunters, show jumping and eventing and include medalists at the Young Horse Event Finals and qualifiers for the World Young Horse Championships. Valentino has produced numerous 1.40-1.50 jumpers and 2* eventers. In North America Valentino has sired Sutton Place, champion as a 5 year old in the Pregreens at WEF and Capital Challenge, also a multiple champion under his amateur owner. As well as top hunter Valentino Now who won the 2015 Canadian Hunter Derby Championships and numerous other hunter derbies in 2015.   

Valentino passes his three excellent basic gaits, his technique at the jump and his excellent type to his descendants, they are very good minded rideable horses who like to work.
